You have the right to be treated with respect, dignity and compassion. We will respect your culture, beliefs, values and personal privacy at all times.

Partnership

You have the right to be included in decisions about your care. We will listen to your preferences and involve you in planning your treatment, so that your care reflects your needs and values.

Information

You have the right to receive clear and honest information about your condition, treatment options, risks, benefits and costs. You may ask questions at any time, and you are entitled to a second opinion.

Privacy

You have the right to privacy and confidentiality. Your personal and medical information will be kept secure and shared only with those directly involved in your care, unless you give consent or it is required by law.

Feedback

You have the right to comment on your care and to raise concerns or complaints without it affecting the care you receive. We will listen to your feedback and respond promptly and fairly.

Your Responsibilities

As a patient, you also have responsibilities to help us provide the best possible care for you and others:

  • Treat staff, other patients and visitors with respect and courtesy. Aggression and physical violence are not tolerated.
