Her professional journey began in India, where she completed her postgraduate training in Psychiatry at the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore and subsequently worked there as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, during which she further developed her clinical expertise and strengthened her commitment to early intervention and family-centred care.
Following this, she moved to the UK to pursue further training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She later relocated to Australia, where she has been working for nearly five years as a consultant psychiatrist with the Infant, Child, and Youth Mental Health team at Grampians Health.
Her clinical interests include early childhood mental health, neurodevelopmental conditions, behavioural disorders, as well as mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. In her practice, she values deep listening, understanding the unique psychosocial and cultural background of each family, and working collaboratively to create meaningful change. She is particularly passionate about making mental health care accessible, collaborative, and compassionate, and is dedicated to supporting children, young people, and their families throughout their journey.
She is available for consultations through Sunshine Clinic Private Hospital and looks forward to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and their families in the region.
