Doctors
The medical team includes Consultant Psychiatrists, General Practitioners, and Junior Medical Officers. They oversee diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and medical assessments.

Psychiatrists lead the therapeutic direction and provide regular patient reviews. Our medical staff collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, safe, and timely care.

Nursing
Nursing care is led by the Director of Clinical Services and is supported by our Clinical Services Manager, Hospital Coordinators, Associated Nurse Unit Managers, Registered Nurses, and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses.

Our nursing team:

  • Deliver 24/7 care across rotating shifts
  • Coordinate day-to-day therapeutic engagement
  • Conduct risk assessments, observations, and medication administration
  • Provide psychoeducation and emotional support

The nursing model is based on the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) standards and embeds professional autonomy, therapeutic rapport, and clinical safety.

Allied Health Team
Sunshine Clinic Private Hospital’s allied health team includes:

  • Psychologists – 1:1 and group therapy, assessment, and formulation
  • Social Workers – Discharge planning, family support, and community linkage
  • Occupational Therapists – Functional assessment, sensory modulation, and life skills training
  • Art and Music Therapists – Expressive and emotional processing through creative media This team enhances psychosocial recovery and promotes independence.
